Wayne Cavanaugh
 
Wayne Cavanaugh has appeared on every major television network in both America and the United Kingdom. He has served as a commentator on more than 100 televised dog shows and dogs events and has worked as co-host with Andrea Joyce and Ronald Reagan, Jr., for the Animal Planet National Dog Championship television series. He most recently co- hosted Crufts , the world's largest dog show, from Birmingham, England for the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) and Discovery.

Mr. Cavanaugh has appeared on The Today Show, CBS This Morning, Good Morning America , CNN, Fox News, Fx's Pet Department , Fox Pet News , Discovery's Pettsburg , FNN, and ABC, CBS, and NBC News. He has served as the host of several television programs and dog event competitions for many networks including Fox, ESPN, and the Outdoor Life Network.

He has worked as Executive Producer, Producer, Technical Consultant, and Writer for several dog-related television series, including Breed All About, on Animal Planet Television. He has written extensively for dog magazines and is a frequent guest of radio talk shows.

An international dog show judge and breeder of champions, Mr. Cavanaugh has served as a consultant to the Irish Kennel Club, and has been a feature presenter at the World Congress of Kennel Clubs in Hamilton, Bermuda and Dublin, Ireland. He currently serves as the President and Owner of the United Kennel Club, the nation's second largest and second oldest dog registry, and is a former Vice President of the American Kennel Club in New York City.

Mr. Cavanaugh has lectured at most of America's veterinary schools, and has served on various pet population committees with the American Veterinary Medical Association, the National Pet Council and the California American Veterinary Medical Association. He served on the Board of Directors of the AKC Canine Health Foundation.

Mr. Cavanaugh resides in southwest Michigan with his wife and two children and continues to judge dog shows and breed and exhibit Pointers.
